The climate here is moderate with the maximum temperature never exceeding 40 degrees Celsius and the minimum never going below about 10 degrees Celsius. Summer season is the driest part of the year with relative humidity ranging between 20 and 25 per cent. The skies are overcast in the south west during the wind-based monsoon season and during the rest of the year the skies are generally clear or slightly clouded; but very beautiful. Winds are generally light to moderate- with some stronger winds during the latter part of the summer and in the receding part of the monsoon.
